Saint Francis United Methodist Church will hold study groups for the Advent season through Dec. 21 at 2965 Kildaire Farm Road, Cary.

A brown bag dinner and study of "The Journey" by Adam Hamilton will be 5:45 p.m. Mondays.

A breakfast study group 6:30 a.m. Tuesdays will discuss the book "Behold! Cultivating Attentiveness in the Season of Advent" by Pamela Hawkins.

A brown bag lunch and study of "Christmas is Not Your Birthday: Experience the Joy of Living and Giving Like Jesus" by Mike Slaughter will be noon Wednesdays.
