The Cary Gallery of Artists will hold a reception for its December featured artists from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Nov. 25, at 200 S. Academy St., Suite 120.

The reception, which includes music and refreshments, is part of downtown Cary's Final Friday Art Loop. The artists to be featured for December will be Kathleen Ward and E. Tracy Williams.

Kathleen Ward works with oils, acrylics, charcoal, pastels, watercolor and mixed media and draws inspiration from people, nature and dream imagery.

E. Tracy Williams will present "Paper, Paint & Possibilities" through collage with acrylic. Williams' abstract collages are a medley of color, texture, shape and depth, exploring the interaction among seemingly unrelated materials to achieve a harmonious, emotional effect.
