The Raleigh CROP Hunger Walk will be at 3 p.m. today at the Marbles Kids Museum. Registration begins at 2 p.m. with a kickoff celebration at 2:45 p.m.
The CROP Hunger Walk is a community-based fundraiser that seeks to end hunger locally and across the globe.
Proceeds benefit Church World Service and local organizations, including Urban Ministries of Wake County, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle, Catholic Parish Outreach, North Raleigh Ministries and Partners for Strong Communities.
The CROP Hunger Walk, which will cover approximately 3.1 miles, is expected to last until 4:30 p.m.
After the walk, children may visit the Marbles Kids Museum.
Members of One Tribe and Drum For Change in cooperation with Raleigh Drum Circle will hold a drum circle during the walk. You may bring your own drum or use one provided.
