RALEIGH - The Wake County sheriff's office today charged a Cary man with being a fugitive from justice in Queens, N.Y.
Matthew Adam Thompson, 19, of 1133 Alston Village in Cary, is wanted by the Queens County District Attorney's Office on charges of identification theft and enterprise corruption, according to records filed this afternoon at the Wake County Magistrate's Office.
New York authorities obtained warrants on Sept. 26 charging Thompson with felony conspiracy, possession of burglary tools, larceny of a motor vehicle, obtaining property by false pretenses, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession and manufacture of fraudulent identification, court records show.
