Lots of haunting activities will help you celebrate this weekend, even if Halloween isn't until Monday.

The Reel-ly Scary Cary Movie Series will be 6 p.m. nightly through Saturday, Oct. 29, at Koka Booth Amphitheatre. Tickets are $3. Children 12 and younger are free. Bring a blanket or chair. For details and a list of movies, visit www.boothamphitheatre.com .

A Halloween storytime for children will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Barnes & Noble Booksellers, 760 S.E. Maynard Road, Cary. Come in costume for stories and treats. For details, call 919-467-3866.

The Diapering Doula will hold Baby's First Halloween from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at 4109 Grace Park Drive, Morrisville. There will be a costume contest, cider, pumpkin painting and more. Downtown Cary will hold a Howlin' Good Halloween Celebration from 5 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29. Start the evening at Herbert C. Young Community Center with Cary Teen Council's Tricks and Treats Halloween Bash. Then, make your way down Academy Street to the Cary Arts Center for more entertainment and the Applause! Morrisville's Spook-tacular Haunted Trail will be from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Morrisville Community Park. The early portion of the evening will feature a family friendly trail with mild scares and later the trail will become spookier.
