The 11th annual BBQ and Tailgate Party sponsored by the Apex Cougar Club will be Friday, Oct. 7. Plates will be served from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. (drive-through or takeout only) in front of Apex High School and from 5 to 6:30 p.m. (eat-in or takeout) in the school parking lot. Green Hope High School's Athletic Booster Club will hold its third annual tailgate dinner from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 14, after the Green Hope Varsity Football game vs. Lee County.
