APEX HIGH SCHOOL

The Apex High School class of 1986 will hold its 25-year reunion at 7 p.m. Saturday at Kildaire Farms Clubhouse, 162 Pebble Creek Drive, Cary. A home football game will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

GODDARD SCHOOL

The Goddard School, 4027 Davis Drive, Morrisville, will hold a Children's Expo from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. The Goddard Kids will perform a fashion show and a talent show. There will also be professional a magic show, dance performances, activities for kids, free vision tests and more. Donations will go to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.

The Wake County school district will offer classes through its Lifelong Learning Program.

LUCY DANIELS CENTER

The Lucy Daniels Center's early childhood education program has earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children. In voluntary compliance with the association's standards, the center went through a self-study process, measuring its programs and services against Early Childhood Program Standards and more than 400 related accreditation criteria. Nationally, only 8 percent of preschools and other early childhood programs are accredited by the NAEYC.

PAGE OF WAKE COUNTY SPELLING BEE

Registration for the second annual PAGE of Wake County Spelling Bee is open. The event will be held March 3 at the McKimmon Center. Interested schools must enroll by Oct. 17 with the Scripps National Spelling Bee at www. spellingbee.com.
