One Leg Up will perform at 3 p.m. today at the Sertoma Amphitheatre in Cary's Bond Park. This is the latest in the Fall Sertoma Series concerts.
Based in Asheville, One Leg Up performs a mixture of gypsy jazz, Latin, swing and original compositions.
The band formed in 2003 in the style of French gypsy guitarist Django Reinhardt. They have played with Spanish guitarist Pere Soto and Michael Dregni, author of "Django: The Life and Music of a Gypsy Legend."Over the years, One Leg Up has broadened its repertoire to include fresh arrangements of Django classics, vocal harmonies and adaptations of classic jazz numbers in the French hot club and American big band styles.
In case of rain, the band will play in the Kiwanis shelter. For information, call 919-462-3969 or visit
