GREEN HOPE HIGH SCHOOL

The Green Hope High School band will hold a garage sale from 6 a.m. to noon Saturday.

PAGE OF WAKE COUNTY SPELLING BEE

Registration for the second annual PAGE of Wake County Spelling Bee is open. The event will be held March 3, 2012 at the McKimmon Center. Interested schools must enroll by Oct. 17 with the Scripps National Spelling Bee at spellingbee.com.

SUBSTITUTE TEACHERS ASSOCIATION

The Substitute Teachers Association of Wake County will meet at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cameron Village Library in room 202. All substitute teachers in Wake County are encouraged to attend.
