Apex Police charged Stephany Renee Malone, 22, with unlawfully obtaining a credit card at 8:18 p.m. Aug. 25. A customer left a wallet at a business where the suspect works on the 900 block of U.S. 64. Fraudulent charges were later made using the customer's credit card.
Police charged Nicole Lea Anne McGhee, 19, with possession of a schedule II controlled substance at 10:48 p.m. Aug. 28. The suspect's vehicle was stopped for a traffic violation and a subsequent search revealed Adderall.
A trailer was taken from a vehicle in a parking lot on Reunion Park Drive before 2:31 p.m. Aug. 24.
Fuquay-Varina A home on Longfellow Street was broken into through a secured door between 2:10 and 2:15 a.m. Aug. 23.
Prevacid, Prilosec and Omeprazole medications were taken from the Walgreens at 1401 N. Main St. about 9 p.m. Aug. 23.
The rear doors of Marina Beauty Supply at 1318 N. Main St. and No. 1 Nails at 1310 N. Main St. were damaged in an attempted break-in between 7:30 p.m. Aug. 23 and 10 a.m. Aug. 24.
Two unsecured vehicles were entered on South Willhaven Drive and South Philwood Court between 8 p.m. Aug. 25 and 4:30 p.m. Aug. 26. A camera, laptop computer, computer bag, GPS unit and radar detector were taken.
Holly Springs A vehicle was entered at Prince Funeral Home at 301 Bass Lake Road by breaking a window between 6 p.m. Aug. 24 and 7 p.m. Aug. 25. Nothing was taken.
A resident of Hidden Cellars Drive reported being the victim of fraud between noon and 1 p.m. Aug. 28. Two counterfeit checks were written using the victim's account.
A resident of Country Lane reported being the victim of identity theft at 3:59 p.m. Aug. 29. The suspect used the victim's personal information to gain employment.
Police charged Maruice Glenwood Stone, 49, of 405 Bass Lake Road, with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury at about 10a.m. Aug. 19 at 405 Bass Lake Road. The incident stemmed from a dispute between a brother and sister and the victim was assaulted with a blunt object.
