A newspaper box was broken into on the 600 block of West Williams Street before 4:30 a.m. Aug. 23. About $30 in coins was taken.

An unsecured garage and two vehicles were entered on Langshire Court before 8:49 a.m. Aug. 15. A flashlight and $9 were taken.

An unsecured vehicle was entered on Kentbury Lane before 8:48 a.m. Aug. 15. A GPS unit was taken.

A motorcycle and helmet were taken from a parking lot on Beaver Creek Commons Drive by cutting a lock before 8 p.m. July 30.

Three unsecured vehicles were entered on Mondavi Place before 7 a.m. Aug. 2. A digital projector and a pair of sunglasses were taken.

An unsecured leaf blower was taken from a truck parked at West Street and Second Street before 2:59 p.m. Aug. 4.

Fuquay-Varina

Five homes were forcibly entered on Fayetteville Road between 9 a.m. March 1 and 3 p.m. July 30. Copper wiring, heating and air conditioning units, sinks and fixtures were taken.

An assault inflicting serious injury and strong arm robbery occurred in the parking lot of Action Park at 609 Wake Chapel Road between 3:25 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. Aug. 5. The victim was punched in the face, causing broken bones, and his cell phone was taken. The suspects were described as three males.

Purchases totaling $419 were made using a stolen credit card at 1051 E. Broad St. between 6:42 a.m. May 10 and 8 a.m. June 8. The victim is a resident of Cary.

An unsecured vehicle was entered in the parking lot of Waffle House at 1412 N. Main St. between 2 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 8. A purse, driver's license and prescription medications were taken.

Fraudulent credit card purchases were made at Food Lion at 1338 N. Main St. about 7:26 p.m. June 10. The victim is a resident of Yelm, Wash.

A resident of Mossburn Road reported being the victim of identity theft at about 3 p.m. June 12. The victim's personal information was used to open credit card accounts and access existing accounts.

Holly Springs

Police charged Kenneth Brian Baker, 20, of 385 BJ Lane, with one count of breaking and entering, one count of larceny, three counts of first-degree burglary, one count of felony larceny, five counts of breaking and entering of a motor vehicle, three counts of misdemeanor larceny and one count of resisting a public officer Aug. 15 at 5032 Linksland Drive. Later, police also arrested Joseph Immanuel Beckwith, 20, of 202 Caley Drive, Fuquay-Varina, on identical charges.
