Fuquay-Varina will hold its first downtown revitalization event, Music at the Market, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 102 N. Main St.

Veteran singer and guitarist Bruce Naegelen will perform during the bi-weekly Growers Market. He has been performing since 1979 throughout central New England and coastal North Carolina. Naegelen plays Jimmy Buffett covers and favorite artists from the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s.

The Growers Market sells local produce and is located at Fuquay-Varina's Centennial Square. It is open 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturdays and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesdays.
