The "Sound of Music Sing-a-Long" will be at 8 p.m. Friday at Koka Booth Amphitheatre in Cary.

The screening of the classic Julie Andrews musical in full-screen Technicolor will include subtitles so the audience can sing along.

There will be a fancy-dress competition, in which everyone who is in costume is invited onto the stage to show off their tailoring skills.

Fancy dress not required.

Doors open at 7 p.m.

Parking lot opens at 5 p.m.

Patrons are permitted to bring food and beverages into the park.

General admission lawn tickets are $15 for adults, $5 for ages 3-12.

Tickets can be purchased at the Koka Booth Amphitheatre box office or online through Ticketmaster.
