Thirty-five of North Carolina's sharpest high school mathematics students recently competed in the 36th Annual American Regions Mathematics League Meet in Athens, Ga. There were 106 teams representing 40 states, as well as international teams from Singapore, China, and Macau, participating in this year's competition.

Several Cary students represented North Carolina, including Jeffrey An, Green Hope High School; Michael An, Davis Drive Middle School; Justin Luo, Tejas Sundaresan and Amitoj Sin, W.G. Enloe High School; Allen Yang and Jeffrey Dudek, Cary Academy; and Franklin Chen, Ligon Middle School. In addition, one of the team's coaches was John Noland, a member of the faculty at Cary Academy.

APEX HIGH SCHOOL
