The Apex High School Band is holding registration for its 2011-2012 season, as well as the dance team and color guard, through the band website at www.apexhighband.org. For information, email bb_president@apexhighband.org.

Honors Algebra II and Honors Pre-Calculus courses are being offered during the summer for a tuition charge of $360. Classes will be held from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m. July 5 to Aug. 9. PANTHER CREEK HIGH SCHOOL

Students from the Panther Creek High School Marching Band performed on April 17 and 18 at Walt Disney World in Florida as part of the Disney Performing Arts Program.

Dance groups, choirs, ensembles and marching bands from around the world apply to perform each year as part of Disney Performing Arts at both the Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resorts.

Once selected, they are given the opportunity to perform at the resort for an international audience of theme park guests.
