Cary Police arrested Timothy Irvin Turley, 23, on several charges after a routine traffic stop June 11. An officer found Turley was driving with stolen registration tags, no license, and no insurance, reports state. Turley, of 8743 Highway 751 in Durham, also faces a charge of failure to register a motor vehicle.
After an undercover operation, police arrested Heather Smith on charges of prostitution in Room 109 at a Days Inn Hotel in Morrisville. Authorities found Smith advertising her services on the Internet, then scheduled the sting. Smith's listed address is 8551 Ramort Road, Baltimore, Md.
Forcible-entry burglaries were reported between June 6 and June 13 at J.M. Edwards Jewelry in Cary and on the 900 block of Brookgreen Dr.
Unforced-entry burglaries were reported between June 6 and June 13 on the 1500 block of Aridith Court, the 10000 block of Green Level Church Road, the 1100 block of Weston Green Loop and the 100 block of Lake Pine Drive.
Apex Police charged Kaneesha Bonita Jenrette, 19, and Laquita Marie Lane, 21, with larceny by an anti-inventory device. The two are suspected of taking clothing and jewelry from Kohl's at 1301 Beaver Creek Commons Drive before 9:30 p.m. June 7.
Seven unsecured vehicles were entered on Colony Hill Drive, Echo Glen Lane and Kentshire Place before 9:35 a.m. June 13. A nail gun, two iPods, golf clubs, $40 and loose change were taken.
An unsecured vehicle was entered on Beaver Creek Commons Drive before 9:30 a.m. June 2. A GPS unit was taken.
A home was entered on Brooklyn Road before 9:25 p.m. April 27. An Xbox video game system, Playstation 3 video game system, $70 in coins, two televisions and various other household items were taken.
Holly Springs Fraudulent credit card purchases were made at Walmart at 7106 GB Alford Highway between 5 p.m. June 5 and 11:40 a.m. June 9.
Police charged Chad Michael Talbot, 26, of 1311-204 Rio Fall Drive, Raleigh, with fleeing to elude arrest at about 12:51 a.m. June 11 on Sunset Lake Road. The suspect appeared to be attempting to avoid a DWI checkpoint.
Two men forcibly entered a home on West Maple Avenue and demanded money between 10:20 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. June 13. The suspects were described as a slender male in his late teens to early 20s and a large framed male in his 20s or 30s.
