Apex An unsecured vehicle was entered on Mockingbird Lane before 7 a.m. May 25. Prescription medication and $25 were taken.
A power washer was taken from the bed of a pickup truck on Homestead Park Drive before 2:30 p.m. June 2.
Eight unsecured vehicles were entered on Trackmire Lane, Lacuna Woods Lane, Mountain Moss Lane and October Glory Lane before 9 a.m. June 3. A laptop computer, wallet, DVD player, cell phone, sunglasses, two GPS units and $50 were taken.
The components of air conditioning units were taken from seven homes on West Williams Street before 8 a.m. June 3.
Fuquay-Varina A vehicle was entered at 533 N. Main St. by breaking a window between 5 p.m. May 26 and 7:50 a.m. May 27. Nothing was taken.
A home was broken into on Youngwood Road by removing an air conditioning unit between 12 p.m. May 26 and 9:20 a.m. May 27. An air conditioning unit, skill saw, extension cord and box fan were taken. Police charged Keara Tyesha Miller, 21, of 106-B Youngwood Road and Rand Jamaine Holland, 20, of 110-B Youngwood Road, with breaking and entering of a residence and larceny.
Four unsecured vehicles were entered on Sycamore Springs Drive, Custom Oak Lane and Steelhorse Drive between 6 p.m. June 1 and 7:30 a.m. June 2. Two laptop computers, a briefcase, .40 caliber handgun, GPS unit and iPod were taken.
Police charged John Raheen Burton, 28, of 525 Caley Drive, with possession of cocaine with intent to sell and deliver, simple possession of marijuana, and resist, delay or obstruction of an officer at about 7:19 p.m. June 5 in the parking lot of Youngwood Apartments. Officers received a tip about a drug sale in progress, which led to the arrest. Police seized 1.8 grams of crack cocaine, 1 gram of marijuana and $102 from the suspect.
Police charged Nicole Arielle Thompson, 20, of 528 Dorothea Road, Raleigh, with aggravated assault at about 3:50 p.m. April 17 at E. Academy Street and N. Main Street. The suspect is accused of pulling a knife and holding it to someone's face at about 3:41 p.m. April 17 at a convenience store at 823 S. Main St.
Holly Springs A financial card was used to make unauthorized purchases at 7000 G.B. Alford Highway between April 25 and May 26.
Police charged Ramona Estelle Griego, 48, of 2432 Three Sons Court, Willow Springs, with embezzlement. Griego, an employee of Rite Aid at 251 S. Main St., is accused of conducting fraudulent transactions at a cash register to conceal the theft of cash.
A vehicle was entered on Harvester Drive between 6:10 p.m. June 1 and 7:05 a.m. June 2. A laptop computer, iPad, briefcase and wallet were taken.
Police charged Guilder Abenr Fuentes Gomes, 30, of 8420 James Rest Home Road, New Hill, with second degree rape and assault on a female June 5. The incident leading to the arrest occurred about 12:30 a.m. the same day.
An unsecured garage was entered on Linksland Drive between 1 a.m. and 3:31 a.m. May 30. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages were taken.
