Honors Algebra II and Honors Pre-Calculus courses are being offered during the summer at Apex High School for a tuition charge of $360. Classes will be held from 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and noon to 3 p.m. July 5 to Aug. 9. Interested students should see their counselor. You do not need to be an Apex High School student to register. HOLLY SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL

The fifth annual Holly Springs Golden Hawks Booster Club Golf Tournament will be held Monday at Devils Ridge Golf Club in Holly Springs. The entry fee of $85 per player includes range balls, green fees, cart fees, lunch, dinner, a gift bag, door prizes, awards and a putting tournament.

The Captain's Choice Scramble Format kicks off at noon with registration, an open driving range and lunch provided by Jimmy John's, Jersey Mike's Subs at Millpond Village and Subway at Walmart. Mulligans will also be sold.

The event concludes with the awards dinner provided by Jack Astor's of Cary at approximately 6 p.m.

The nonprofit Golden Hawks Club's mission is to provide the financial assistance for the Holly Springs High School athletic department and allow student athletes to excel in the classroom and on the playing field.
