Cary

Kenneth Gordon Woodcock, 46, was arrested Saturday on charges of indecent exposure. A neighbor reported that he exposed himself at about 2 p.m. while standing on his lawn on Gray Street.

Forced-entry burglaries were reported between May 9 and Monday on the 1400 block of Piney Plains Road; the 2800 block of Piney Plains Road; and the 500 block of Southwest Maynard Road;

Unforced-entry burglaries were reported between May 9 and Monday on the 8500 block of Chapel Hill Road; the 200 block of Electra Drive; the 2800 block of Grande Valley Circle; and the 100 block of Karen Court.

Apex

Pine straw was set on fire on Reunion Park Drive before 3:08 p.m. April 17.

Two pole vaulting poles were taken from a business on Vision Drive before 11:23 a.m. April 18.

An unsecured vehicle was entered on Apex Peakway before 5:30 p.m. April 18. A laptop computer was taken.

A fire was set in the bed of a pickup truck on Cameron Woods Drive before 2:59 p.m. April 21.

Police charged Sharod Carlos Mitchell, 18, of 804 Mockingbird Lane, with the sale and delivery of marijuana April 24. Police responded to a report of drug activity on Laura Duncan Road, which led to the arrest.

Police charged Craig Alan Smith, 17, of 1424 Fairfax Woods Drive, with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny April 28. He is suspected of taking beer and $50 in coins from a home on Patterson Grove Road on April 27.

Fuquay-Varina

A building at Falcon Park at 611 E. Academy St. was broken into by cutting a padlock between 6:30 p.m. May 1 and 7:45 a.m. May 2. Coins totaling $3 were taken.

An unsecured building at Oldcastle Precast, Inc. at 1431 Products Road was entered between April 29 and May 2. A reciprocating saw, belt sander, air nail gun, jig saw and two grinders were taken.

A building at South Park at 900 S. Main St. was entered by cutting a padlock between 9 a.m. April 30 and 8:30 a.m. May 2. About $40 was taken.

A forged check was cashed at Cubbard Convenience Store at 823 S. Main St. on March 23. The check was worth $973.

A man impersonated a police officer to rob someone on West Ransom Street at about 11:14 a.m. Feb. 14. He took $15 in cash.

Holly Springs

Police charged Gary Lee Spencer, 52, of 304 N. O'Neal St., Clayton, with two counts of trafficking heroin and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia May 1 at Holly Springs Road and Sunset Fairways Drive. The suspect was stopped for suspicion of driving while impaired and officers found the heroin.

Two handguns, one semi-automatic and one revolver, were taken from a home on Talley Ridge Drive between 10 p.m. April 27 and 10:45 p.m. May 1.

Police charged Joshua David Freeman, 34, of 1337 Bowling Road, Fuquay-Varina, with identity theft May 4 at Avent Ferry Road and G.B. Alford Highway. He is accused of fraudulently cashing an unauthorized check and attempting to cash another check at Four Oaks Bank, 201 W. Center St., at about 2:46 p.m. May 4.

A fraudulent check was cashed at the Four Oaks Bank, 201 W. Center St. on May 9.

A resident of Amberglen Lane reported being the victim of fraud between 6 p.m. March 8 and 3 p.m. March 9. Unauthorized purchases were made using the victim's credit card.
