AFRICAN-AMERICAN BOOK GROUP

The group will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 21 at Barnes & Noble at 760 S.E. Maynard Road in Cary to discuss "Wench," by Dolen Perkins-Valdez.

ANIME CLUB

The club will watch "Kaleido Star," disk 1, rated TV-14 by Funimation on Saturday from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Popcorn will be served. Bring your own drink. The Anime Club is for ages 13 and up. CARY CROSS TRAILERS SQUARE DANCE CLUB

CARY JAYCEES

The Jaycees's third annual Amateur Photo Contest is open to all ages. Photographers can submit up to two entries in the following subjects: people, critters of nature and North Carolina landscape. CARY MAYOR'S TASK FORCE ON DISABILITY

The Cary Mayor's Task Force on Disability meets from noon to 1 p.m. every second Wednesday at the Page-Walker Arts and History Center, 119 Ambassador Loop. Residents who live or work in Cary or Apex are welcome, regardless of age or ability/disability. For information, see www.carydisability.org.

MSing LINKS

Msing Links will hold its fourth annual MS Plant Sale and Garden Tour from 8 a.m. to noon Saturday at 907 Tanglewood Drive in Cary. Perennials and shrubs will be available.
