Members of the Tri-Force Jump Rope Team based in Morrisville performed in February at a conference at N.C. State University.

Their jump-rope performance came during the session "Health and the Next Generation."

After the performance, the team was invited to join former Gov. Jim Hunt and other conference participants for a walk around the Raleigh Convention Center.

The Tri-Force Jump Rope Team includes more than 40 members age 7 to 21 from throughout the area.

They compete locally and nationally and perform at events promoting fitness and heart health, particularly for young people.
