Police investigated an incident March 16 after two people exchanged a volley of bagged dog feces. A man was walking his dognear Cary Elementary when a person driving a white pick-up truck nearly struck him. The pedestrian hurled a bag of dog feces into the bed of the pick-up truck, according to a police report. Some time later, as the pedestrian walked on West Street, the white pick-up truck passed him and the driver threw a bag of dog feces at him, shouting "Here's your dog [expletive] back," the report states. The pedestrian called police. Officers located the driver but both parties decided not to press charges.

A Cary man was the victim in a fraudulent high-dollar eBay deal, he told police. The 46-year-old bought a 2007 BMW in January on the Internet commerce site, but the seller disappeared after the man sent a check for more than $19,000. The victim reported the crime on March 16.

Residents reported burglaries on the 200 block of Nottingham Dr., the 7100 block of Citadel Creek Lane, the 100 block of Westongate Way and the 100 block of Breckenwood Dr. between March 16 and Sunday.

Apex

Two unsecured vehicles were entered on Towhee Drive before 7 a.m. March 2. $310 was taken.

Police charged Carson Samuel Giordano, 20, of 114 Peace Haven Place, with breaking and entering of a motor vehicle at about 2:45 p.m. March 4. He is suspected of forcibly entering a vehicle on Peace Haven Place before 6 p.m. March 3. A laptop computer, GPS unit and camera were taken.

An unsecured vehicle was entered on the 900 block of U.S. 64 before 11 p.m. March 6. $700 was taken.

A vehicle was forcibly entered on Summit Lake Drive before 7:18 p.m. March 7. A book bag, credit card and driver's license were taken.

An unsecured vehicle was entered on New Yarmon Way before 3 p.m. Feb. 6. Two credit cards and $20 were taken.

An unsecured vehicle was entered on New Dover Road before 1 p.m. Feb. 5. A pair of sunglasses was taken.

Three vehicles were entered on Investment Boulevard by breaking the locks before 7 a.m. Feb. 10. A saw was taken.

Fuquay-Varina

A suspect described as a 19-year-old white male broke a window with his fist at Smithfield's Chicken 'N Bar-B-Q at 1440 Broad St. at 12:14 p.m. Feb. 20.
