The U.S. men's national team will visit WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary next week for four days of training ahead of friendly matches against Argentina and Paraguay.

The practices, held Monday through Thursday, will not be open to the public, said Michael Kammarman, the team's press officer.

The roster has not been announced for the matches against Argentina on March 26 at the Meadowlands in New Jersey and against Paraguay on March 29 at LP Field in Nashville, Tenn.

Because the matches are in a FIFA international window, all European-based and Major League Soccer players are available, including World Cup stars such as Landon Donovan and Tim Howard. Kammarman said U.S. Soccer hoped to set the roster by the end of the week.

In addition to the training camp, Carolina RailHawks president Curt Johnson said he was hopeful other U.S. Soccer events would come to the facility this summer.

The U.S. men's team trained at WakeMed Soccer Park before the 2002 and 2006 World Cups but held this summer's preparation in Princeton, N.J. WakeMed Soccer Park has hosted one U.S. men's international match, against Jamaica in 2006.
