Between March 8 and March 14, home burglaries were reported on the 4700 block of Berry Rose Way, the 200 block of Bordeaux Lane, the 100 block of Chalon Dr. and the 1000 block of Bianco Dr.

Tony Purnel, 22, of 201 Ashton Pl. is accused of stabbing a woman Friday during a domestic dispute. Cary police charged Purnel with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury.

Vandals pulled the top off of a picnic table at Adams Elementary School on Friday.

A woman reported Mar. 8 that someone had lit the back seat of her car on fire during the three months it was parked at Gary Gordon Auto Service on Kildaire Farm Road. Police are investigating the report as arson.

Police are investigating the theft of gasoline on the night of Mar. 8 from two vehicles that were parked at 101 Woodwinds Industrial Court. The vehicles' owners discovered in the morning that someone had drilled holes in the vehicles' gas tanks and siphoned gasoline.

Apex

Salem Baptist Church at 1200 Salem Church Road was entered by breaking a window before 9 a.m. Feb. 28. Sound system components were taken.

Police charged Michelle Anne Holden, 43, of 312 Cabana Drive with felony larceny and resisting/obstructing a public officer at about 8 p.m. Feb. 28 on Cabana Drive.

The incident stemmed from a domestic dispute where the suspect is accused of taking a television and clothing from the home.

Fuquay-Varina

An incident of a possession of weapon of mass destruction was reported at Fuquay Gun & Gold at 330 S. Main St. at about 10:37 a.m. March 5. A fully automatic M3 carbine .30-caliber rifle was seized by police.

An unsecured vehicle was entered at 1120 N. Main St. between 12:30 p.m. and 12:45 p.m. Feb. 22. A book bag, social security card, passport, eight credit cards, three checkbooks and various keys were taken.

A home was forcibly entered through a rear window on Ashdale Drive between Feb. 3 and Feb. 11. Seven rings, a necklace, pair of earrings and pendant were taken.
