The following is a list of area boys track and field stars who will look to follow-up on impressive 2010 performances.

Thomas Graham and Cameron Walton, Cary Academy: Graham was the NCISAA 3-A champ in the 1,600 (4:17.14) and 3,200 (9:28.9). Walton won the NCISAA 3-A long jump.

Shawn Underwood, Fuquay-Varina: The North Carolina football recruit won the NCHSAA 4-A shot put (55 feet, 1.5 inches).

Ryan Walling and Will Hulbert, Green Hope: Walling was second in the 4-A 1,600 (4:14.67), third in the winter 1,600 and sixth in the cross country championships last fall. Hulbert was second in the winter pole vault.

Bakri Abushouk and Kwayon Taylor-Greene, Cary: Abushouk won Tri-Nine cross country and was second in the 1,000 in winter track. Taylor-Greene took third in the 4-A 400 meters (49.16) and third in winter track 500.

The Imps are the defending Tri-Nine Conference champs.
