An unsecured bicycle was taken from the porch of a home on Lakeview Drive before 3:21 p.m. Feb. 3.
An unsecured vehicle was entered on New Chester Court before 8 a.m. Feb. 5. A pair of sunglasses was taken.
Cary A mustachioed and bearded man wearing cowboy boots, a coat with a fur hood and blue jeans was caught on camera stealing two cartons of Newport cigarettes from a Walgreens pharmacy in Cary on Feb. 11.
Police investigated a small suspicious fire at 219 Stable Gate Drive on Feb. 24 as a possible arson case. The fire caused $1,500 worth of damage to a fence on the property.
Early on the morning of Feb. 15, a 69-year-old woman reported that her bank cards, cellular phone and reading glasses were stolen from her unlocked car after she left her key in its door. The vehicle was in her driveway on Ashford Lane.
On the night of Feb. 20, someone broke into a pool pump house at the Weston Pointe pool and threw several items in the pool, according to police report. On the same day, the Weston Pointe Homeowners Association reported that someone had removed sewer covers and dropped them into manholes and destroyed a flag on the golf course.
Narcotics, electronics, gold, cash and radio equipment were stolen Feb. 8 from a vehicle at Five Hole Sports at 1110 Buck Jones Road. The victim left the business to find that someone had broken into his 2004 GMC Yukon. The value of the stolen goods totaled almost $5,000; the case has been closed without an arrest.
Fuquay-Varina An unsecured vehicle was entered at Enterprise Leasing Company at 2916 N. Main St. between Feb. 20 and 8 a.m. Feb. 21. Fecal matter was left in the vehicle.
An argument led to a man pulling a gun and shooting a victim in the leg with a handgun on Youngwood Road at about 5:30 p.m. Feb. 22.
A home was broken into on Papsworth Court by breaking a window to unlock the door Feb. 12. A Playstation video game system, Nintendo DSi portable video game system and a DVD were taken.
A vehicle was entered by breaking a window at Home Depot at 901 E. Broad St. between 9 p.m. Feb. 12 and 1:05 p.m. Feb. 13. A GPS unit was taken.
A non-residential building was broken into at 4800 Powell Road by breaking a window between 9 a.m. Jan. 1 and 9 a.m. Feb. 3. Approximately $5,000 worth of copper pipe was taken.
Credit card information was fraudulently accessed at 525 N. Main St. at about 9 a.m. Feb. 4. $1,171 was taken.
Holly Springs Police charged Patrick Antonio McNeil, 22, of 805 S. Main St., with possession of marijuana with intent to sell or deliver at about 8:30 a.m. Feb. 17 at Bass Lake Road and Goosehaven Drive. The suspect was stopped by an officer for having a revoked operator's license and the drugs were discovered during a search of the vehicle.
Police charged Warren Daniel Tart, 37, of 190 Callie Coats Lane, Angier, with embezzlement at about 1:45 p.m. Feb. 18 at Eagles at 7008 G.B. Alford Highway. The suspect is accused of taking bottles of Mountain Dew from his employer between Oct. 1 and Feb. 17.
A resident of Wanderview Lane reported being the victim of credit card fraud between 5 p.m. and 11:30 p.m. Feb. 19. The victim lost his wallet and later discovered several unauthorized transactions on his debit card account.
