Adams Elementary will hold an open house for the parents and guardians of track-4 students on Aug. 12. There will be two sessions covering the same material to accommodate parents with more than one child at Adams. The school will open at 5:45 p.m. for parents to find their child's classroom. APEX MIDDLE

Rising sixth-graders who will attend Apex Middle School are invited to Cougar Camp on Aug. 18 (last names A-L) and Aug. 20 (last names L-Z) from 8 to 11:30 a.m.

Cougar Camp is a half-day orientation for sixth-grade students.

On Aug. 17, there will be Meet the Teacher Night for seventh- and eighth-grade students.

Apex Middle School's annual Academic Awards Night was held May 27. Ninety-nine students made the A-Honor Roll for the year.

Nine students were recognized for being on the A-Honor Roll for all three middle school years.
