Cary

On June 5, someone stole clothes and hair clippers from a guest's room at Cary Inn, 1716 Walnut Street.

Police said the missing items were taken from two Pitt County men who were staying at the hotel.

Stolen from the victims were two pairs of shoes, a pair of blue jeans, a ball cap and the hair clippers.

The total value of the missing items was estimated at $440.

Stainless steel appliances were taken on June 5 from a home under construction on Seymour Place.

The thief forced their way into the home through the front door.

A range and microwave, valued at a combined $900, were taken.

Police in Cary are investigating a series of car break-ins on Robbins Reef Way in the Weston Point subdivision.

According to police reports, five cars were entered at neighboring homes between 11:45 p.m. June 19 and 9:30 a.m. June 20.

More than $3,000 in personal property, including computers, GPS devices and mp3 players, were taken from the vehicles.

Officers reported that a neighbor of one of the victims found some of the missing items while walking in the 1200 block of Jones Franklin Road in Raleigh.

Police have not identified any suspects in the break-ins.

Apex

Police charged Jarrad Allen Adkins, 19, of 721 Branniff Drive, Cary, with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and deliver and two counts of sale and delivery of a controlled substance at about 9:45 p.m. May 31 at 2211 Park Summit Blvd. Officers seized two baggies of marijuana with a combined weight of 12.94 grams, two smoking devices and $25 cash from the suspect.

A resident of Rainesview Lane reported being the victim of financial transaction card fraud between 12 p.m. May 20 and 6:47 p.m. June 1. $2,811.14 was charged using the victim's bank account.

Someone entered a vehicle on Brittingham Loop between 12 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. May 28. A GPS unit was taken.

A vehicle was entered on Breezemere Court at about 8:54 p.m. June 6. An iPod was taken.

Two suspected arsons occurred at homes on Bexley Hills Bend and St. Emilion Court between 5 p.m. June 5 and 2 a.m. June 6.

Counterfeit $20 bills were passed at Wendy's at 790 W. Williams St., Kangaroo at 1800 Laura Duncan Road, Taco Bell at 1205 Laura Village Drive and McDonalds at 900 U.S. 64 between June 1 and June 5.

A resident of Lindfield Court reported being the victim of financial identity fraud between 8:15 a.m. June 5 and 2:40 p.m. June 8. Charges totaling $479 were made at various websites using the victim's credit card.

Police charged Zachary Williams Privett, 17, of 2008 Castleburg Drive, with two counts of assault by strangulation, assault inflicting serious injury, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor assault and affray at about 3 p.m. June 9. The incident occurred at the suspect's home between 11:30 a.m. May 29 and 12:13 p.m. June 9.

Someone entered Apex Middle School between 8 a.m. May 23 and 8 a.m. June 8. A Roland digital piano and a Roland keyboard amplifier were taken.

A vehicle was entered on Bungalow Park Drive between 9:30 p.m. June 9 and 7 a.m. June 10. A GPS unit was taken.

Someone entered a vehicle at Pearson Farms Road and Olive Chapel Road between 8 p.m. June 9 and 10:30 a.m. June 10. An iPod with an adapter was taken.

A vehicle was entered on Fairfax Woods Drive between 6:30 p.m. June 10 and 8:25 a.m. June 11. $20 cash and an iPod were taken.

Someone stole nine camcorders from HHgregg at 1275 Haddon Hall Drive between 2:36 p.m. and 3:04 p.m. May 29.

Two vehicles were entered on Ashley Downs Drive between 10 p.m. June 10 and 4 p.m. June 12. Two iPods were taken.

A vehicle was entered on Lindell Drive between 7:42 a.m. and 7:44 a.m. June 14. A backpack was taken.

Fuquay-Varina

A home under construction on Harvest Point Drive was entered through the back door between 5 p.m. May 13 and 10 a.m. May 14. A refrigerator, microwave, range, washing machine and dryer were taken.

An unsecured vehicle was entered on Leland Cypress Lane at about 5:40 a.m. May 15. A GPS unit was taken.

Someone entered an unsecured vehicle on Timber Meadow Lake Road at about 9:18 a.m. May 15. A GPS unit, gym bag, gym clothes and keys were taken.

A home was entered on Broad Street by breaking the window of the side door between 9:45 a.m. and 8:45 p.m. May 15. A check book, brief case, cuff links, gold ring, gold necklace and wood box were taken.

Someone entered an unsecured vehicle on S. Phillip Point Drive between 8 p.m. May 15 and 9 a.m. May 16. A knife was taken.

An unsecured vehicle was entered on Cameronwood Drive at about 8:32 p.m. May 7. A GPS unit was taken.

Someone entered an unsecured vehicle on E. Quailwood Drive between 11:30 p.m. May 15 and 7:25 p.m. May 17. A paint ball gun, cell phone and Armani cologne were taken.

An unsecured vehicle was entered on Windsor Wynd Place between 4 p.m. May 18 and 11:48 a.m. May 19. A cell phone and charger were taken.

Someone used a stolen credit card belonging to a resident of Cobble Point Way between May 8 and May 9 at the convenience store at 1325 Broad St.

A blue 2001 Chrysler Town and Country was taken from the driveway of a home on S. West Street between 11:30 p.m. May 19 and 9 a.m. May 20.

A U-Haul dolly valued at $2,000 was taken from 535 N. Main St. between 11 p.m. May 19 and 1:50 p.m. May 20.

Police charged Benjamin Nolan Bryant, 42, of 3521 Piney Grove Wilbon Road, Willow Springs, with two counts of possession of cocaine at about 11:30 p.m. at Lawrence Street and W. Academy Street. Gary Allen Hamilton, 26, of 318 Holly Glent St., was also charged with one count of possession of cocaine at the same time and location. The two were traveling in a vehicle that was stopped for having the taillights out which led to the discovery and seizure of 5.2 grams of crack cocaine.

The window of a home on Old Spring Hill Lane was broken with a rock at about 8:01 a.m. May 21 in an attempt to gain entry. Nothing was taken.

An unsecured vehicle was entered on Edgecroft Way between 7 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. May 21. An iPhone was taken.

Someone kicked in the front door of a home on Willow Bay Drive at about 3:40 a.m. May 22. Nothing was taken.

Holly Springs

An unsecured vehicle was entered on Bibleway Court between 11 p.m. May 23 and 2:42 p.m. May 24. Nothing was taken, but the contents had been disturbed.

Checks were fraudulently cashed using the checking account of a deceased resident of Avent Circle between 6 and 6:30 p.m. June 1.

Copper pipes were taken from a home on New Hill Road by breaking into a back door between 1:30 p.m. May 30 and 5:30 p.m. June 4.

A fraudulent electronic check was used to purchase merchandise at Walmart at 7016 G.B. Alford Highway between 12:24 a.m. May 27 and 8 a.m. June 3.

Someone attempted to pass forged checks at the Four Oaks Bank at 201 W. Center St. between 2 and 2:15 p.m. June 7.

A home was entered on Crossfire Drive through an unsecured rear window between 5:50 and 6 p.m. June 7. Nothing was taken.

Someone entered an unsecured vehicle on Stargate Road between 8 p.m. June 7 and 7:30 a.m. June 8. Two iPods were taken.

A resident of Redhill Road reported that several credit card accounts were opened using their social security number between May 25 and June 7.

Someone took prescription medicine from a home on Timber Springs Court at about 2:29 p.m. June 14.
