WOMEN'S OPEN MIC POETRY

In honor of Women's History Month, West Regional Library will hold an open-mic poetry event at 7 p.m. hosted by local writer, Megan Cutter (cuttersword.com). The Town of Cary's Art-o-mat is taking the scenic route from its home at the Jordan Hall Arts Center to its final destination in Cary's new community arts center. The once popular cigarette vending machine has been repurposed. Instead of vending cigarettes, patrons receive a one-of-a-kind piece of miniature art. On March 16, Cary's Art-o-mat moves to the Cary Senior Center. It will be there until it moves to Spring Daze on April 24 and then back to the Senior Center until June 15.

The Cary Gallery of Artists announces a call to artists for its second annual Small Treasures juried show March 26 to April 24 to be judged by artist Luana Winner.
