Cary

On Feb. 11 between 2:30 and 3 a.m., someone burglarized a home on Tabula Place. The victim reported to police that his car had been broken into inside his garage. Missing from the car were a $200 GPS unit and a $400 computer.

Vandals caused about $2,000 damage to a van on the showroom floor of the Crossroads Ford Sales Center on Feb. 10. Police said someone shattered a driver's side window and both side mirrors and punctured several doors on a 2008 Ford E-450 Super Duty van.

Copper piping and brass fittings valued at $8,000 were taken from a subdivision under construction on Yates Store Road between Feb. 5 and Feb. 11. Police said the materials were the property of Harrelson Utilities of Fuquay-Varina.

Someone took about 20 tires from Merchant Tire and Auto Center at 1795 W. Williams St. between 9 p.m. Feb. 3 and 6:32 p.m. Feb. 4.

A resident of Kingsway Drive reported fraudulent charges of $846.58 on their credit card between Feb. 7 and Feb. 8.

Fuquay-Varina

Police charged Mandelious Jermaine McNeil, 33, of 115-F Bay Tree St., with possession of marijuana with intent to sell or distribute and possession of paraphernalia at 112 N. West St. at about 8:30 p.m. Feb. 5. 25 grams of marijuana, $265 cash and two blunts were seized.

Someone assaulted an 82-year-old woman and attempted to steal food valued at $166 from Walmart at 1051 E. Broad St. at about 4:30 p.m. Feb. 6. The suspect is described as a 41-year-old male.

Holly Springs

Someone fraudulently used a resident of Autumn Glen Lane's social security number to file taxes between 7 p.m. Feb. 3 and 7:36 p.m. Feb. 4.

A house cleaning service collected a fraudulent check for services rendered at a home on Starkland Way between 12 p.m. Feb. 4 and 1 p.m. Feb. 5.

Police charged Nathan Richard Aguilar, 18, of 200 Ashewyck Commons Court, Fuquay-Varina, with three counts of possession of synthetic/manufactured drugs, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 2:15 a.m. Feb. 8 at G.B. Alford Highway and Avent Ferry Road. The drugs were discovered during a search after a routine traffic stop.

Police charged Antonio Lynn Battle, 21, of 313 Caprano Drive, with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 4:32 p.m. Feb. 8 at 3805 Lake Song Circle. The drugs were discovered after police were given permission to search the residence.
