Police received reports of 27 vehicles being entered in neighborhoods off of Haddon Hall Drive and Haywards Heath Lane between 3 p.m. Jan. 17 and 9:45 a.m. Jan. 18.

Six GPS units, an XM radio receiver, a broken radar detector, an iPod cable, a hunting knife, two iPhones, a bowling ball, a pair of bowling shoes and a car DVD player with monitors were taken.

A Volvo S80 with an AAA sticker on the left side of the back window was taken from a home on Hampstead Heath Lane between 7:30 p.m. Jan. 17 and 12 p.m. Jan. 18.

Police charged Ahaim Harting, 47, of 310 Wrenn St., with two counts of embezzlement and one count of larceny by employee at Target at 1201 Beaver Creek Commons Dr. at about 5 p.m. Jan. 19. She is suspected of taking consumable goods and credit/debit cards while working at the store between 12 p.m. Dec. 16 and 5 p.m. Jan. 19.

An apartment was entered on Park Summit Boulevard between 1:30 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. Jan. 15. Two necklaces, a ring, a gold house key and credit card were taken.

A vehicle was entered on Homestead Park Drive between 7 p.m. Jan. 17 and 6 a.m. Jan. 18. A wallet, two credit cards and an unknown sum of cash was taken.

Fuquay-Varina

A home on East Academy Street was entered through an unsecured door between 8 p.m. Jan. 9 and 6 p.m. Jan. 12. A cell phone and a digital camera were taken.

Three rings with a total value at about $2,750 were taken from a home on Parker Drive at about 2 p.m. Jan. 14. There was no forced entry.

A roll of rubber membrane valued at $1,800 was taken from the Triangle Worshipping Church at 9725 Fayetteville Road, Raleigh, NC between 6:30 p.m. Dec. 25 and 8 a.m. Dec. 28.

Two air conditioning units also were damaged at the church to remove the copper wire between 6:30 p.m. Dec. 29 and 11 a.m. on Dec. 30.

An unlocked vehicle was entered in the parking lot of Wachovia Bank at 135 North Main St. at about 8:45 a.m. Dec. 18. Fifteen Oxycodone pills, 15 Meloxicam pills and a CD were taken.

Two counterfeit travelers checks for $100 each were passed at Walmart at 1501 East Broad Street at 6:28 p.m. Dec. 23.

Police charged Scottie Lee Horne, 28, of 106 Kinton Drive, Angier, with armed robbery.

Police say the suspect produced a knife and ordered a victim at a Bank of America ATM at 1335 East Broad Street.

A debit card was taken.
