AARP

The AARP's Cary chapter will meet at 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday at the Cary Senior Center.

The program will feature a presentation by WRAL-TV meteorologist Mike Moss.

There will also be a food drive.

APEX LIONS

The Apex Lions meet at the 6:45 p.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month at the C.C. Jones Building at 309 Holleman St. in Apex. For information, call Nick Somma at 919-481-1888.

CARY JAYCEES

The Cary Jaycees meet from 7 to 8 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at the BNC on 649 Walnut St. in Cary. For information see caryjaycees.org.

CARY NEWCOMERS

Cary Newcomers Club meets at 9:45 a.m. on the first Wednesday of each month at the Kirk of Kildaire Presbyterian Church. The church is at 200 High Meadow Drive in Cary across from the Saltbox Village shopping center. All new residents of Cary, Morrisville, Apex, Holly Springs and Fuquay-Varina are invited. HOLLY SPRINGS BUSINESS ALLIANCE

The Holly Springs Business Alliance will meet from 8 to 9 a.m. on Thursday at Holly Springs High School. The Holly Springs Business Alliance is a collaborative partnership between business leaders throughout our community and the educators at our middle and high schools.

The Holly Springs Business Alliance helps to implement school-to-career initiatives and works with many organizations to meet the identified needs of our student populations.
