Cary

A homeowner on Hamilton Court reported on Friday that she was the victim of an armed robbery. The victim told police that a man approached her from behind as she walked to the front door of her townhouse. The suspect put a knife to the woman's neck and took her backpack, then fled on foot. The victim described her assailant as a dark-skinned male between 25 and 30 years old and about six feet tall. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a white bandana covering his face.

Cary police are investigating a burglary that occurred between 11 a.m. Aug. 25 and 12:30 a.m. Aug. 26 in a hotel room at Extended Stay America on Regency Parkway. Two male victims told officers that someone entered their hotel room and stole an iPod, two video game consoles and a TV.

On Friday, police in Cary arrested Moses Furman Mullins II, 51, of 600 Weston Parkway, and served him with outstanding warrants of fraud and a court violation. Mullins was wanted by Raleigh police for an incident that occurred on Capital Boulevard.

A home was broken into on Bullfinch Lane between 7:30 a.m. and 5:03 p.m. on Aug. 20. Twenty dollars and a medicine bottle of 150 Xanax pills were taken.

Someone entered a construction site on Apex Peakway between 5:45 p.m. August 20 and 11:32 a.m. on Aug. 21. A Ridgid 300 power pipe threader was taken.
