Thirty-four might be the new favorite number for East Wake High, which shut out Middle Creek High 34-0 on Friday.
The Warriors scored 34 points for the second week in a row, downing the Mustangs in a nonconference matchup.
East Wake (3-0) scored 34 points in last week's win, a 34-6 decision over Millbrook. The Warriors defense has allowed just 12 points on the season.
Veteran head coach Jimmy Williams' squad squares off against Enloe next Friday in Raleigh.
The Warriors then begin Greater Neuse River 4-A Conference play at home against Smithfield-Selma on Sept. 22.
Middle Creek (1-3) heads to Leesville Road next week before opening its Tri-Seven Conference season on Sept. 22 against Morrisville Green Hope.
