She is the daughter of Earl Philmon and Terri Leeman. She is also the newly elected president of the student government at WFU for the 2006-2007 school year.

Himabindu Reddy of Cary was named to the Dean's List for the spring 2006 semester.

Western Carolina University

Hannah Sullivan Wait, a 2005 Cary High graduate, recently completed her freshman year at Western Carolina University. She made the Dean's List both fall and spring semesters and has been invited to join the Western Carolina University Chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta honor organization. This organization is availale to students who maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher. She has also been chosen to be a part of the Peer Mentoring Program for incoming freshmen.
